Update on Fernwood Neighbourhood Plan
The City web site, at http:www.victoria.ca/EN/main/residents/planning-development/community-planning/neighbourhood-plans.html, shows the Fernwood Neighbourhood planning process scheduled for 2018. City staff has indicated they should be able to determine a target start month later this fall. This is a disappointing development as we were initially scheduled to have our plan start later this year. The delay is caused by the Fairfield, Gonzales, and Victoria West plans not being finished, something that needs to be done before they can move on to Fernwood, Jubilee, North Park, Rockland and Fort Street Corridor

Regarding: 1290 Gladstone Avenue:
This is the Official Community Meeting for this property. The owner wants to rezone from C-1 (Limited Commercial District) to a site specific zone in order to convert 10 existing commercial units at the rear of the building (facing the parking lot) to live/ work units. Access to the units is through the rear of the building. There will be no changes made to the exterior of this heritage designated building.
At this public meeting the owners architect will discuss the changes they would like to make to the property

Update: 1802 Chambers St and 1147, 1159 and 1163 North Park St is scheduled to go to the Feb 28, 2018 meeting of the Advisory Design.
