Fernwood Urban Village Project at 1802 Chambers Street

Date: Wednesday March 1, 2017

Time: 7 PM

Location: Paul Phillips Hall, 1923 Fernwood Road

The proposed Fernwood Urban Village project at 1802 Chambers has been sold. This is a preliminary information meeting where the new owners will present the changes they would like to make to the design in order to build a traditional residential rental project.

The site is presently zoned R-75 and has an existing development permit. For the new owner to make the changes they are considering they will need to rezone the property and apply for a new development permit.

The new owner would like feedback on the Grant Street frontage as well as the future of the Teachery building on the site. They are also thinking about reducing the size of the courtyard and adding some additional parking stalls on the site.

Please see this letter from the architect representing the owner.
